In preparing for the 2010 Asia Games, the city of Guangzhou mandated new Emissions regulations policy that are consistent with US and European standards. LP Amina was contracted to retrofit 6 coal-fired power plants within the Guangzhou city limits. Using advanced coal conversion and post conversion technologies, the emissions of these plants were lowered by 60% and therefore reaching world-class standards.
