LP Amina becomes a founding member of US-China Clean Energy Research Center (CERC)
Cutting Edge Clean Technology Consortium is Awarded Department of Energy Grant
Growing collaboration between China and the US in the sphere of clean energy and sustainable development resulted in the creation of US- China Clean Energy Research Center (CERC). The main purpose of CERC is to work closely with the US Department of Energy and its China’s counterpart to identify, support and promote sustainable energy development.
Within this framework, LP Amina along with a small consortium of industry leaders and top research institutions was awarded a grant to develop and implement solutions for carbon capture with subsequent utilization (i.e. CCS). This technology presents a valuable synthesis of affordable, clean, coal-based energy and a financially viable model of CO2 disposal.
At LP Amina, we welcome this exciting opportunity to extend our technology and expertise in clean and efficient energy solutions to yet another segment of the coal industry value chain.
